In the case when the product and packaging are unopened and undamaged, you are eligible for a refund. All returns are subject to a 4% fee to help cover shipping and restocking fees. Exchanges are not subject to any fees.

In the case when the packaging has been opened and the product has been used, you are not eligible for a refund.

CUSTOMIZATION

We embroider most of our products by hand in New York. These items take about 2 weeks to ship. However, some of our products require a certain level of embroidery expertise, and those are customized overseas.

We LOVE to create custom products for your special event. We have created baskets for all types of gatherings - birthdays, holidays, weddings, charity events, brand events, brand trips, and more! For large events, we are happy to accommodate special requests, such as specifics fonts, colors, logos, and more. Care, Repair, & Guarantee

Straw handbags are fragile by nature -- they are made of natural materials and many of our bags include embroidery, embellishment, and special detailing.

That being said, we want you to have our bags for a very long time. If you take good care of them, you can have them for life!

While we can't guarantee all products for life, we will always do our best to repair a loved/worn product if it is within our capabilities.

Store in a clean, dry location within a Poolside dust bag.

For bags made of straw and other natural materials, we recommend spot cleaning with luke warm water and a gentle soap or detergent. For bags made of fabric, you can use a gentle stain remover.

If your bag gets wet, always allow it to dry thoroughly before using it again.

We want you to have our bags for a very long time. If you take good care of them, you can have them for life!

Poolside is known for certain iconic styles, which are normally in stock year-round. We also offer seasonal products such as The Teddy Tote, which is restocked annually in the fall. In addition, we launch 3 new collections each year. Each collection is made in small quantities and is limited edition. These items often sell out quickly. We try to have zero product waste within our business, so we always encourage customers to purchase the bags they love as soon as they launch because they may never come back in stock! Your Poolside bags are also collectors items for your closet.

PRODUCT OFFERINGS

POOLSIDE's founder, Ashleigh Stone, started the brand in 2015 when she opened a multi-brand boutique called "Poolside Collective" in Montauk. The boutique stocked up-and-coming resortwear and accessories brands from around the world. The store quickly grew with a cult-following of celebrities, locals and visitors from around the world, who would look forward to shopping at Poolside Collective each summer.

The one thing Ashleigh didn't sell in her store was straw beach bags, because she could never find ones that she loved. Ashleigh launched the POOLSIDE collection of handbags in Summer 2016, via her store, her own website and an exclusive global distribution partnership with Moda Operandi.

POOLSIDE's founder, Ashleigh Stone, owned a store in Montauk called 'Poolside Collective.' It was located right next to a pool (poolside) at a boutique hotel in Montauk. The POOLSIDE brand launched within that store. Inspired by the nostalgia and lifestyle that swimming pools represent, Ashleigh hopes to create a brand that is classic, fun, and inspiring.

ARTISANS & SUSTAINABILITY

We currently produce our bags in The Philippines, India, Spain, and Morocco. We proudly work with over 300 female artisans, helping to create new opportunities in communities where the women are often the bread winners for their families. Since launch, we have worked with local groups to create a fair trade as well as jobs, training programs, schools, and cooperatives for the female artisans we work with. Our beauty products are made in New York.

Our straw bags are made by hand, using natural materials and sustainable processes. Different types of straw are woven to create our bags. The bags are then finished by hand with lining, trim, leather, embroidery, and more at our ateliers around the world.
